His proposed dissertation is a documentary film which will focus on the Rastafari movement titled, "Roots, Rock, Reggae, Zion". In a time when our world, country, and communities feel divided, he has proposed to address this division by seeking to know his neighbor, love his neighbor, and creating a space where Rastafari teachings and beliefs can be told through film. He sees this film as an opportunity to share a historical and current context of Rastafari, told through Rastas, Scholars, and Musicians around the world!
